Formosa has unplanned outage at Texas cracker

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Formosa’s olefins 1 ethylene cracker in Point Comfort, Texas was shut this weekend for unplanned maintenance, a company source said on Monday.
The 682,000 tonnes/year cracker is expected to be down for three days, the source said.
The outage comes amid a series of cracker turnarounds planned for February at ExxonMobil, Chevron Phillips and Williams.
