SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical planned to build a new polypropylene(PP) plant with Dow’s technology, several Dow sources said on Friday.
The 200,000 tonne/year PP plant has been scheduled to start up at the end of 2008 or early 2009, global vice president Zhang Peifang and other senior officials from Dow Technology Licensing said.
Oher Chinese firms use Dow’s Unipol PP processing technology include Tian Soda and Datang Corp.
PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical, with a refining capacity of 10m tonnes/year, is located in Guangxi province, southwest ?xml:namespace>
