LONDON (ICIS news)--Akzo Nobel expects shares in Organon BioSciences to begin trading on 27 March, the company said on Friday.

The IPO (initial public ofering) prospectus was expected to be published on Monday 12 March, a spokesman added.

The Netherlands-based life sciences, coatings and chemicals group said earlier this week that it would not adjust the timing of the planned IPO in light of recent stock market declines.

The 20-30% IPO of Organon Biosciences would be on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange.

Analysts expected the proceeds of the IPO to be between  €8bn ($10.5bn) and €10bn.

Investor road shows were expected to begin mid-March after the prospectus is issued.
