Air Liquide to supply nitrogen to Qingdao refinery

LONDON (ICIS news)--French industrial gases group Air Liquide has entered into a long-term agreement for the supply of nitrogen to Sinopec subsidiary Qingdao Refining and Chemical’s new refinery.

 

The company said on Tuesday that the nitrogen would be supplied to the refinery, which will produce more than 10m tonnes/year of crude oil, by pipeline.

 

The Qingdao, Shandong province based refinery is due to start production in Q1 2008, Air Liquide said.
