HULL, UK (ICIS news)--Commercial biodiesel delivery has now begun from Greenergy’s plant in Hull, UK, a company source said on Thursday.
Biodiesel supply, which will reach full output of 100,000 tonnes/year in April, will be sold on to UK supermarkets and oil consumers.
A second phase of the biodiesel unit, due on stream in November, would increase the plant’s output to a total of 200,000 tonnes/year.
Greenergy’s biodiesel is made from a mixture of feedstocks, including rapeseed oil, soy oil and some palm oil.
