(LONDON ICIS news)--Bayer has restarted its flexible polyols plant in
The 130,000 tonne/year unit, which was restarted the middle-to-end of last week, was back up at normal rates.
The shutdown started on Monday 19 March.
Bayer said its customers were not impacted by the shutdown as stocks were built up to cover the turnaround.
In April, most flexible polyols contract values remained stable within a range of €1,545-1,630/tonne ($2,116-2,232/tonne) FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest
Other polyols producers in Europe include BASF Elastogran and Dow.
