LONDON (ICIS news)--Polimeri Europa has stopped all fresh sales of polyethylene (PE) this week due to tight availability and continued strong sales, a company source said on Friday.

PE has tightened throughout the month due to some production issues and strong demand over the past few months.
LDPE in particular was experiencing tight availability as two cases of force majeure were in place this week, at Total and INEOS.
