HOUSTON (ICIS news)--A Celanese subsidiary said on Monday that it has broken ground on two plants in Nanjing, China.
The first plant will make molecular-weight polyethylene (PE), and the second will make long fibre-reinforced thermoplastic, said Ticona, the subsidiary.
The fibre plant should start operations in early 2008, and the PE plant should start in the second half of the same year, Ticona said.
