NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--Ciba Specialty Chemicals (India) Limited (CSCIL) said on Tuesday that its wholly owned subsidiary Diamond Dye-Chem Limited (DDL) had commissioned an export-oriented unit (EOU) at the latter’s existing production site at Ankleshwar in Gujarat state.
The Indian rupees (Rs)700m ($17m) unit had started commercial production of colour formers and thermal developers. DDL describes itself as

CSCIL, a subsidiary of Ciba Specialty Chemicals Holdings Inc. of
CSCIL’s 51%-owned Hyderabad-based subsidiary Virchow Drugs Pvt Limited produces triclosan, an antimicrobial ingredient of toothpastes and other similar products.
