GUANGZHOU, China (ICIS news)--PetroRabigh, plans to pre-sell polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) in October, a company source said on Tuesday.
“As we will not have started up at that time, we will first sell linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and polypropylene (PP) from
PetroRabigh is a joint venture (JV) between Sumitomo Chemical and Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco).
PetroRabigh was founded in September 2005.

Planned to start up in the middle of 2008, PetroRabigh will have capacities of 700,000tonne/year of PP, 350,000tonne/year of LLDPE, 300,000tonne/year of HDPE and 250,000tonne/year of Easy Processing polyethylene (EPPE).
