LONDON (ICIS news)--Borealis was in the process of resuming production at its Porvoo, Finland, cracker on schedule on Thursday, a company source reported.

Borealis began a planned debottlenecking outage on 15 April which increased cracker production capacity by 50,000-60,000 tonnes/year to 380,000-390,000 tonnes/year.
Full output was expected in the coming days, the source added.
The company produces polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) at the Porvoo site.
