LONDON (ICIS news)--Total Petrochemicals’ polypropylene (PP) output in Feluy, Belgium, was at a standstill on Tuesday after storms led to an electrical outage on Sunday 10 June, a company source said.
Total has three lines at the site with an annual capacity of 800,000 tonnes.
“We are assessing the situation and trying to limit the damage,” the source said. “Start-up will be progressive and could take as long as ten days to reach full output.”

PP prices have increased by €10-20/tonne ($13-27/tonne) in June, due to reduced output and good demand.
