LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow Chemical's polyols plant in Tertre, Belgium, is operating at normal rates following scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.

The 40,000 tonne/year unit was restarted as planned at the start of this week after a turnaround which began the weekend of 2-3 June. Customers were not affected by the shutdown as inventories were sufficient to cover the period, Dow said.

Other European polyols suppliers include BASF Elastogran and Bayer.
