HOUSTON (ICIS news)--DuPont said on Wednesday it will provide FOSS North America the rights to technology that measures ethanol yields.

DuPont subsidiary Pioneer Hi-Bred developed the technology, which measures the yield in terms of gallons/bushel.

The technology allows farmers to tailor corn hybrids that produce the highest yields of ethanol, DuPont said. Also, ethanol producers can better manage the grain that feeds their ethanol production process.
