Iran toluene tender awarded to Middle East trader

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--A sell tender for a 4,500 tonne toluene cargo was awarded early this week for loading on 27 June, said the buyer, a Middle East-based trader, on Thursday.

 

The tender was awarded by Iran-based Esfahan Petrochemicals, the source added at the 3rd ICIS Aromatics and Derivatives Conference here. The cargo will be shipped to India, with the expected arrival date of 10 July.

 

Toluene prices in Asia on Thursday were pegged in a wider range at $840-860/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.

 

The two-day conference ends on Friday.
