LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow’s cracker in Boehlen, Germany, was ramping up rates on Friday after planned maintenance, a company source said on Friday afternoon.

This followed a 50% reduction since 21 June so that repairs could be carried out, the source added

The unit had already gone down in April for maintenance work.

Some market sources said that the loss of output had not had a noticeable effect on the market.

Apart from Boehlen, Dow operates three crackers in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, and one in Tarragona, Spain.
