SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Shell Chemicals has rolled over its Asian contract price (ACP) for monoethylene glycol (MEG) to August from July at $990/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia, a company official said on Tuesday.
He did not offer any reason behind the rollover.
Market leader MEGlobal has also rolled over its price on MOnday at $1,020/tonne CFR Asia to August from July.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC), the third of the MEG majors which post a monthly ACP, is expected to post its price later this week.
SABIC’s July ACP was $1,010/tonne.
