LONDON (ICIS news)--Iran Petrochemical Commercial Co (IPCC) has brought down its urea train at the Ghadir 1 plant in Assaluyeh for technical reasons, a company source said on Tuesday.

The 1.1m tonne/year unit was taken down towards the end of June.

It was not known when the plant would be brought back up and the source did not disclose any further details.

The source added that the 680,000 tonne/year ammonia line at Ghadir 1 was operating at 80% capacity to avoid technical problems on the advice of its parent company, National Petrochemical Co (NPC).
