US Eastman expands cellulose triacetate capacity

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US Eastman Chemical plans to expand the production of cellulose triacetate (CTA) to meet growing demand from the liquid crystal display (LCD) film industry.
The additional capacity should come online by mid 2009 at the company's plant in Kingsport, Tennessee.
