MUMBAI (ICIS news)--EU industrial producer prices rose 2.2% in June compared with the corresponding month in 2006, with chemicals and man-made fibres increasing 2.4%, official statistics agency Eurostat said on Thursday.
Month on month, EU industrial producer prices rose 0.1%, while prices for chemicals were 0.2% higher.
In the 13-member eurozone, June industrial producer prices raised 2.3% from last year and 0.1% from May.
Chemicals and man-made fibres prices in the eurozone were up 2.4% from a year ago, and rose 0.2% from May.
