In cash markets Oman Polypropylene expects to restart its 340,000 tonne/year plant at Sohar by the end of this week.

 

The PP plant has been shut for over two weeks due to the lack of feedstock propylene.

 

Sinopec, the Chinese energy major, has pushed back the start-up of its Qingdao refinery project tentatively to August 2008 as equipment delivery was delayed.
