MOVES: Valspar elects Mansfield chairman

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Valspar's board has elected CEO and president William Mansfield as chairman, effective immediately, the US paint and coatings maker said in a statement on Wednesday.

 

Mansfield succeeds Thomas McBurney, who was chairman for the past two years.

 

McBurney would remain chair of Valspar’s governance committee, the company said.

 

Mansfield has been CEO and president since February 2005.
