TORONTO (ICIS news)--Jacobs has won a contract to work on the relocation and integration of a Vopak oil and chemical products terminal in Hamburg, the US engineering major said on Tuesday.

Vopak was planning to integrate two terminals into one site to make way for more container services at the Port of Hamburg, Jacobs said but did not disclose details about the affected sites, costs or timelines.

Vopak has two big oil and chemical product sites in Hamburg - Neuhof, with a storage capacity of 700,700 cubic metres from 285 tanks and Waltershof, totalling 136,000 cubic metres from 120 tanks - according to its website.

A media official at Vopak’s headquarters in Rotterdam was not immediately available for comment.
