NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--India’s state trading house MMTC Limited said on Wednesday it is seeking global offers for the supply of an unspecified amount of diammonium phosphate (DAP).
The tender document stated the bidders would have the freedom to specify the quantities of DAP, the origin of supplies and the Indian port where shipments would be delivered.
The selected bidders would, however, have to make the shipments by mid-October at the latest to coincide with the start of the winter crop sowing season.
The open-ended nature of the query showed MMTC was keen to secure offers quickly, said an industry source.
The last date for the submission of offers is 24 September, with bidders having to keep them valid until 3 October.
This is MMTC’s fourth invitation for the import of DAP in the current financial year that began on 1 April.
