SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Major oil producer Venezuela is planning to “revolutionise” its petrochemicals industry to rake in an income of $100bn during the next five years, the country’s leader said.

The nation planned to add 83 new plants which will require an investment of $20bn and create 700,000 jobs, President Hugo Chavez said during his regular Sunday television programme.
