HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Canadian fertilizer company Agrium is closing its nitrogen fertilizer operations in Kenai, Alaska, due to a shortage of natural gas supply, the company said on Tuesday.
The plant should shut down by the end of the month, the company said. About 100 workers will lose their jobs.
