Henkel to open second adhesives plant in Romania

BUCHAREST (ICIS news)--Home building materials maker Henkel Bautechnik Romania is to open on 10 October its second industrial adhesives plant in Romania, ICIS news learned on Monday.

The 200,000 tonne/year plant was built at Campia Turzii in central Romania at a cost of €10m ($14.2m) and raises Henkel's total adhesives capacity in Romania to 260,000 tonnes/year.

Henkel has another plant at Pantelimon near Bucharest.

Henkel Bautechnik Romania reported a turnover of €100m last year, up 34% compared with 2005.
