PRAGUE (ICIS news)--Poland’s Dwory said on Thursday it is to rename acquired Czech synthetic rubber producer Kaucuk as Synthos and that it is working on a plan to transfer some of its production to the new subsidiary.
“The new name reflects the company’s mission, which is to be a B2B [business-to-business] operation producing and supplying customers with chemical products and solutions for further processing to support their growth,” a spokesman for synthetic rubbers and polystyrene (PS) maker Dwory said.
“The name also refers to chemical synthesis, which is the company’s core area of operation,” the spokesman, who declined to be named, added.
Synthos is to have two production branches, Synthos Dwory and Synthos Kralupy.
Meanwhile, in their latest look at Dwory, analysts at Wood & Company noted it was now concentrating on organic growth but was not ruling out further acquisitions.
