LONDON (ICIS news)--Solvay Solexis’ new polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micronised powder plant in Changshu,
“Among the subsequent development projects considered in Changshu Solvay Solexis is planning to build an integrated production plant for the manufacturing of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for coating applications and related monomers,” the company added.
PTFE micronised powders are used in a variety of applications including the manufacture of cosmetics, high gloss inks, high performance lubricants and heat-resistant materials.
PVDF resin is used as a base material for long-life architectural coating systems for metal, glass and other exterior surfaces.
