SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Chinese epichlorhyrin (ECH) major Bohui Chemical plans to restart its 80,000 tonne/year unit in Zibo in December, a company source said on Tuesday.?xml:namespace>
The No 2 unit was shut two weeks ago due to mechanical problems.
“Some parts of the unit needed to be replaced and that’s the reason why we are taking a longer time [than usual] to restart,” the source said.
Its No1 80,000 tonne/year plant at the same site was running at full capacity, she added.
