Lanxess sets up central, eastern Europe sales arm

LONDON (ICIS news)--Lanxess has set up a sales company with headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia, to expend its business in the growth markets of central and eastern Europe, the German specialty chemicals producer said on Wednesday.

 

The new business, Lanxess Central Eastern Europe, would employ 40 new staff to handle sales activities in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia for all Lanxess’s business units.

 

It will officially start operations on 1 January 2008, the company added.
