National Oxygen expands industrial gas capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Singapore-based industrial gas manufacturer National Oxygen said Tuesday that it has completed work on its new air separation plant in Jurong Island, and that its production capacity for industrial gas would be more than doubled.

The new air separation plant, the company’s third, would have better energy efficiency compared to its existing plants, National Oxygen said in a statement.

It has also installed five large storage tanks at its Jurong Island facility and completed construction of its new administration building, the company added.

National Oxygen is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese industrial gas manufacturer Taiyo Nippon Sanso, and offers products and services for various gas applications.

Its industrial gas production at Jurong Island includes oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
