MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Gazprom, Sibur and Dow Chemical have signed a memorandum of intentions on natural gas processing, the Russian gas giant said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the agreement, Gazprom, Sibur and Dow would study possibilities of joint gas processing projects at Valanzhinsk gas deposits in Russia's Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region.
They would also look into a possible joint venture based at Dow's new petrochemical production units in Germany.
The companies would create a joint working group to conduct prefeasibility studies of a possible joint venture and draft an agreement on further feasibility studies, the statement said.
