NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--Indian state trading house MMTC Limited has issued a fresh global tender notice for sulphur purchases, it said on Friday.

The deadline for submission of bids is 19 December.

The company has sought two or three parcels, each lot of 15,000-18,000 tonnes.

Bidders should keep their offers valid till 28 December but MMTC did not specify the precise delivery schedule.

This is the fourth time since 26 October that the company has tendered for sulphur imports as it had not been able to clinch deals at terms specified by its client, which is believed to be Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT).
