INEOS Cologne propylene cracker down

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--An INEOS cracker supplying propylene in Cologne, Germany, went down on Friday, according to a company spokesman.

The company was still assessing what happened at its 300,000 tonnes/year number five cracker, the company official said.

The facility will operate at three-quarters rate until the end of the year, the official said.

The company has sufficient stock to meet its supply obligations, the official said.

No injuries were reported.
