Nippon Oil settles Jan benzene ACP $35/t lower

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Nippon Oil said on Friday that it has settled the benzene Asian Contract Price (ACP) for January lower by $35/tonne.

The ACP for the month of January was settled at $985/tonne (€670/tonne) CFR (cost and freight) Asia, lower than the December settlement at $1,020/tonne. No comments were available from officials on Monday, due to a holiday in Japan.

The contract price was below the current spot level, assessed on Monday at $1,025-1,040/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
