Anbang Chem restarts China polyester plant

SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--Anbang Chemical restarted its 200,000 tonne/year polyester plant on Thursday in Chuzhou, Anhui province, east China, said a company official.
The market will receive on-spec products within this week as the company’s polyester fibre production was expected to reach 100% capacity, added the source.
The turnaround did not have an impact in the Anhui market where demand was weak, traders said.
