SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--China National Bluestar Group completed two projects late last month for producing maleic anhydride (MA) and polyoxymethylene (POM), company officials said on Friday.
The yuan (CNY) 100m ($13.8m) MA unit, in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, was started up on 17 December, one official said, adding that it had a capacity of 22,500 tonnes/year.
Subsidiary Shanghai Bluestar New Chemical Plant has also completed work on a 40,000 tonne/year POM project in Pudong, Shanghai.
It aimed to start up the plant within the next five months, the official said.
