SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Bluestar Cleaning said on Tuesday it expects to post a huge jump in its 2007 net profit from a year ago on stable toluene diisocyanate (TDI) output.
The company, which operates a 30,000 tonne/year TDI unit in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, expected its net profit to reach yuan (CNY) 80m ($11m) from CNY10m in 2006, it said in a statement to the Shenzhen exchange.
China’s TDI prices hit a 10-year high of $5,100/tonne CFR (cost and freight) in September last year on tight supply.
