LONDON (ICIS news)--Mark Garrett has replaced John Taylor as the new CEO of Borealis, the Austria-based plastics producer said on Wednesday as it announced a new executive board structure.

Former head of hydrocarbons Henry Sperle has taken on the new role of executive vice president (EVP) Middle East and Asia in Abu Dhabi, while Herbert Willerth continues as EVP operations, the company said.

Borealis said the EVP position for polyolefins is vacant, with Garrett running the unit until a new executive is appointed.

Recently appointed board members Martin Kuzaj and Daniel Shook have taken over as EVP base chemicals and CFO respectively.
