LONDON (ICIS news)--Global and regional plastics futures prices from the London Metal Exchange are given in the table below.

Iran's Jam Petrochemical expects to achieve on-spec production at its 1.32m tonne/year cracker at Assaluyeh by the end of March and start up its derivative units by July. The complex will include a 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant and a 300,000 tonne/year HDPE/linear low density PE (LLDPE) swing plant.

Meanwhile, Petlin’s 255,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Kerteh, eastern Malaysia, is still shut and the exact restart date is uncertain, sources close to the company said on Friday.
