US MA November imports up 15% at 1,882 tonnes

(ICIS news)--US maleic anhydride (MA) imports in November totalled 1,882 tonnes, a 15% increase from 1,629 tonnes in October, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) said on Friday.

US MA imports in November were up by 10.3% when compared with 1,705 tonnes one year earlier, USITC data showed.

MA imports in the year through November were at 18,201 tonnes, down by 18% from 22,160 tonnes in the same period a year earlier.

The USITC said the US in November exported 2,220 tonnes of MA, a 9% increase from 2,035 tonnes in October.

US MA exports in January-November totalled 22,584 tonnes, down by 16% from one year earlier, the USITC said.
