Air Products signs supply deal with Signet Solar

LONDON (ICIS news)--Air Products has signed an agreement to supply industrial and specialty gases to Signet Solar’s new thin-film photovoltaic (PV) module plant in Mochau, eastern Germany, the US-based company said on Monday.

 

The long term agreement includes the supply of hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, argon, silane, nitrogen trifluoride and dopant gases, Air Products said.

 

The plant was expected to go on stream in the summer of 2008, manufacturing thin-film PV modules for use in solar power stations and solar panels integrated into buildings.
