MOVES: CRA adds chem VPs in London and Houston

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--CRA International has appointed two new vice presidents for chemicals and petroleum to the company’s London and Houston offices, the Boston, Massachusetts-based consultancy said on Monday.

Mike Gallup was appointed to Houston and Neil Checker was appointed to London.

“Our newest vice presidents have diverse knowledge across a range of industries and practices,” CRA President and CEO James Burrows said in a statement. “They bring skills and insight that will be of great assistance and value to our clients.”

Ivy League-educated Gallup has 25 years of experience working with energy-related companies on projects such as corporate strategy, new business development, cost reduction, supply chain and risk management, process redesign and outsourcing. His most recent post was as senior vice-president at Satyam Computer Services.

Gallup holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in chemical engineering from Cornell University.

Checker also has more than 25 years of experience in chemicals and related process industries, having worked with leading petroleum, chemical, and financial clients on business strategy, operational improvement, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His most recent post was as global vice president of Strategy and Finance practice at Nexant.

Checker holds a PhD and a BS from the University of Sussex.
