MUMBAI (ICIS news)--India’s Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) posted a 12.3% year-on-year drop in third-quarter operating profits to rupees (Rs) 1.5bn ($38.1m), the company said on Tuesday.
It failed to elaborate on the figures.
For the quarter, the company’s net sales were up 9.5% to Rs9.9bn, while its net profits were down 7.04% year on year to Rs742.6m, the company said.
Quarter over quarter, the company’s operating profits were down 11.7% and its net sales were down 8.6%. For the period, the company’s net profits fell 9%, it added.
Shares of the company were down 6.57% to close at Rs249.05 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
