HOUSTON (ICIS news)--The US Navy has awarded a $120m (€83m) environmental remediation contract to California-based Innovative Technical Solutions Incorporated (ITSI), the company said on Monday.
ITSI will remediate Navy and Marine Corps sites that have been contaminated by solvents, petroleum, metals, bases and reactors found in soils, sediments, groundwater and man-made structures, the company said.
The company said it will perform the work at defence sites primarily in California, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, Oregon and Utah but may also be used nationwide.
The contract term is for one year plus four option years.
