Taiwan's CPC buys naphtha cargo at $6/t premium

LONDON (ICIS news)--Taiwan’s CPC has awarded its naphtha buy tender at around a $6/tonne premium over the Japan quote, trading sources said on Monday.

The tender was for 75,000 tonnes of full range naphtha to be delivered at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in the first half of April.

Full seller details were not immediately available. The tender closed on 14 February and was valid till 15 February.

CPC last bought 150,000 tonnes for delivery in March at around a $0.50/tonne premium over the Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight) Taiwan.

Its monthly naphtha requirement is 75,000 tonnes.
