US weekly propylene stocks drop by more than 6%

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US weekly non-fuel use propylene inventories fell by 6.4% in the week ended 15 February, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Thursday.

US stocks dropped to 2.386m bbl from 2.550m bbl.

US propylene inventories were down by 28% from 3.317m bbl one year earlier.

Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer- and chemical-grade propylene.
