SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Japanese aromatics major Nippon Oil has nominated its benzene Asia Contract Price (ACP) for March $115/tonne higher than the previous month on the back of the recent hike in spot prices on US and Asia markets, said a company source on Monday.

March ACP nominations were announced at $1,130/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia

The company increased the March ACP to bring it in line with the recent uptrend in the US and Asian spot market, the source said.

Asia’s benzene prices were currently assessed stable at $1,095-1,105/tonne FOB Korea, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
