SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--China’s environment watchdog has blacklisted 141 pesticides, coatings, batteries and arsenic products which contain chemicals that could cause pollution or pose severe environmental risks, it said late on Tuesday.
The State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) has also requested relevant ministries to cancel export tax rebates and ban trade that makes these products in ?xml:namespace>
The blacklisted products contained chemicals such as dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT), sodium cyanide, lead oxide and acid red, it added.
